2024 Conduct Policy: 6th Annual Asia-Pacific Fund Finance Symposium

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone who participates in our events, whether as an attendee, speaker, sponsor, vendor, staff, or volunteer. We believe that diversity and inclusion are essential for a successful and enjoyable event, and we welcome and value the contributions and perspectives of people from different backgrounds, identities, experiences, and abilities.

We do not tolerate any form of harassment or inappropriate conduct at our event or in relation to our event, including at any venue or hotel. Harassment or inappropriate conduct is any behavior that is unwelcome, offensive, intimidating, hostile, or harmful to others. Harassment or inappropriate conduct may include, but is not limited to:

  • Verbal or written comments or messages that are abusive, derogatory, discriminatory, or hateful based on someone’s gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, appearance, or any other personal or protected characteristic.
  • Unwanted or inappropriate physical contact, such as touching, groping, hugging, kissing, or invading someone’s personal space without their consent.
  • Unwanted or inappropriate sexual attention, such as sexual advances, propositions, requests, jokes, innuendos, gestures, or images.
  • Threatening, stalking, following, harassing, or bullying someone, either in person or online, during or after the event.
  • Disrupting, heckling, or interfering with someone’s presentation, speech, session, or activity at the event, or creating a hostile or unpleasant atmosphere for others.
  • Recording, photographing, or sharing someone’s personal or professional information, image, or voice without their consent, or in violation of any privacy, data protection, or intellectual property rights or policies.
  • Advocating or promoting any illegal, violent, harmful, or unethical actions, causes, or organizations.
  • Anyone who violates this policy may be asked to stop, warned, removed, or banned from the event or future events, at the sole discretion of the FFA. The event organizer may also report any violations to the appropriate authorities, employee or any attendee or sponsor or take any other legal or appropriate action as necessary and as determined in the sole discretion of the FFA.
  • If you experience or witness any harassment or inappropriate conduct at the event or in relation to the event, please contact the event organizer or a designated staff member as soon as possible. You can also email us at info@fundfinanceassociation.com to report any incidents or concerns. Please provide as much information as possible, such as the name, description, or contact details of the person(s) involved, the time, place, and nature of the incident, and any witnesses or evidence. We will treat your report confidentially and respectfully, and we will respond promptly and appropriately.
  • By attending or participating in our event, you agree to abide by this policy and to respect the rights and dignity of others. You also agree to release and indemnify the FFA and the event organizer and its partners, sponsors, vendors, staff, and volunteers from any liability or responsibility for any damages, losses, injuries, or claims that may arise from or in connection with any harassment or inappropriate conduct that occurs at the event or in relation to the event.
