The Fund Finance Association’s annual symposiums bring together investors, fund managers, bankers and lawyers for education and networking within the fund finance market. FFA hosts annual events in Miami, London, and Asia. The 2019 Symposiums were attended by over 1,400 industry professionals representing over 500 firms.
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Fund Finance Association, has decided to postpone the European Symposium until Thursday, 22 October 2020. The Associations’ main concern is to guarantee the health and safety of everyone involved and ensure a high level of attendance from stakeholders around the world. The Association had planned to hold the European Symposium on Wednesday 8 July 2020 at The Landmark in London. The symposium is now scheduled for Thursday 22 October 2020 at the same venue.
The difficult decision to postpone the conference has been taken to minimize costs and risks for all involved and to ensure the health and safety of all attendees and sponsors following the decision by the World Health Organization to declare COVID-19 a global pandemic. The planning of the conference was well underway, with more than 600 registered participants and 11 confirmed sessions scheduled to take place over the course of the day. The Fund Finance Association invites all sponsors to continue their engagement with this event and will work towards ensuring the same program with an even greater level of participation in October.
