DEE DEE SKLAR WOMEN IN FUND FINANCE AWARD

DANIELLE ROMAN

Mourant

The Fund Finance Association selected Danielle Roman, Partner at Mourant as the 2020 recipient of our Women in Fund Finance Award. Danielle is an accomplished banking and finance lawyer, with deep experience in the Asia-Pacific region both onshore and offshore.  Danielle is a founder of Women in Fund Finance in Asia and her contribution to the success of this program is unparalleled.  Danielle is driven to make a difference and invests enormous amounts of her time in fund finance and to women in fund finance.

Danielle is a role model for all women, as much for her professional accomplishments as for her activism for social and environmental causes (including being actively involved in charities whose aim it is to support vulnerable women who are victims of sexual and economic exploitation) and her other interests outside of work (she is a successful obstacle course racer and ambassador for Spartan Race, having recently competed for Hong Kong at the Spartan World Championships in Lake Tahoe less than one week after chairing the FFA’s APAC conference in September). We don’t know how she does it!

Danielle embodies what Women in Fund Finance represents. She is a strong, charismatic professional woman who has created balance where balance is impossible.  Her continued dedication to helping other women succeed makes her the perfect choice as the 2020 recipient of this award.
