Prior to this, Thomas was a Senior Risk Officer for Leveraged Finance and Media/Entertainment and Telecom Structured Finance in WestLB’s New York branch for 4 years. He previously held various positions at WestLB in Germany and started his career with a 2-year Traineeship at Deutsche Bank. Emma has nearly 20 years of international banking experience in relationship management and credit. Prior to joining State Street she managed the European and Asian lending teams at BNP Paribas Securities Services. Prior to this Emma fulfilled relationship management roles at both Commerzbank and NAB in London managing strategic bank relationships, cross selling investment bank products and providing credit support to key clients of these institutions.
Ramon Walsh joined Act is in February 2012 as Director of Banking, based in London. Ramon is an experienced leveraged finance specialist, with 12 years of banking experience, who supports our deal teams in all aspects of debt raising and restructuring and coordinates our banking relationships globally. Given his investment banking background, he also assists our local teams in the execution of FX/interest rate hedging, IPO, M&A and co-investment processes. Ramon was previously at Barclays Capital where he was a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group. Prior to Barclays Capital, Ramon worked at Morgan Stanley, UBS Warburg and Ernst & Young. Ramon is a qualified CA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a BSc (Hons) in Statistics from the University of Aberdeen.
